A Proven Concept
For the proof in the pudding, we don’t have to look very far. This mix-use product has been around in Windsor Colorado since the 1800s. It is down both sides of Main Street Windsor with small commercial retail below residential apartments above. The Lofts project actually takes this one step further and offers flexibility to the tenants in the space below the apartments. This new space can be used as garages for the residential units, or expanded commercial operations. Windsor has encouraged and supported the small business entrepreneur since it’s beginning. The Demand
A similar product in Windsor, the Water Valley Vaults, is a facility that Buyers can purchase a unit to store and run certain business out of. The Limited Industrial zoning code and other requirements at the Vaults don’t allow owners to live or sell retail from these units.
